Continuing on with the Stupid Boys Fest Spooktacular! we have chosen to attempt to shed some light on my personal favorite denizens of questionable taste: ZOMBIES! These prompts come from The Zen of Zombie: Better Living Through the Undead by Scott Kenemore, which is brilliant to have around if you've ever felt sluggish, put upon, or started to wonder what your compatriots would taste like with a little HP Sauce. (The answer to that, by the way, is excellent!)

You can reply to this post if you like and ask questions, but you don't have to. Just go through the prompts and see if one strikes your fancy and then create a fan work to share! (But please keep your brains to yourself.)

Remember: stupidboysfest is open to any fandom, any pairing, and any genre. Slash, gen, and het are welcome. Fics, art, and any other fan creations are encouraged!

There's no deadline for completing your fanwork, but we encourage that you post your fic to this community—either the full text or a link to your own journal/website—before the official end of the fest on October 31.

Previous Prompt Sets
You can still use these prompts, too!
Prompt Set Mental Combat with the Rising Vampire: 81-90

Prompt Set Friends in Need are...Om Nom Nom

91 The 24 Habits of Highly Effective Zombies

92 Remember that Assholes Tend to Get Their Comeuppances (Frequently, at the Hands of Zombies)

93 Your Guide to Complete Zombification in 90 Days

94 Sticking to Your (Zombie) Guns

95 The Silence of the Zombies

96 In some languages, the word for "crisis" is also the word for "opportunity". In the language of zombie however, the word for "crisis" is also the word for "a decided lack of yummy humans to eat." (The zombie word for "opportunity" is likewise synonymous with "a school bus full of defenseless children," "a group of overconfident, naive explorers," and "a crowded country house with the road washed out and the phone lines disconnected from a storm.")

97 A brain in the hand is worth two behind the hastily improvised zombie barricades.

98 A higher power is watching and keeping track of what's going on and who is being a jerk to whom. And zombies are his messenger.

99 While it cannot be said that zombies make a concerted effort to consume either sex before the other, plenty of zombies do end up picking up girls late at night in secluded places. Especially girls with big, you know...brains.

100 The universe helps those who help themselves. Like, to brains and stuff.

Links (when I get them up) go to our tags so you can see what's already been posted for each prompt.

Remember: Stay quick on your feet, wear tight clothing, and under no circumstances, set a stupid boy zombie on fire!

Dude, totally. The other zombies are like, "What the eff? Can't you stop wearing feather boas?" And Zombie!Gerard's like, "But they're fashionable!" And the other zombies look at Pete and Pete just shrugs.

And then they eat his brains.

And zombie!Patrick watches horrified from the sidelines while muttering about how weird his life has gotten. Zombie!Gabe totally takes that time to slither up next to zombie!Patrick and try to seduce him by whispering about how he likes weird things. Except his leg falls off, so the slithering becomes manic hopping, which isn't sexy, not even for a zombie.

Zombie!Frank takes zombie!Gabe's leg and uses it to emphasize how he's going to kill and eat teenage girls. And as a zombie, THE WORLD FINALLY BELIEVES HIM.
